The cost for South Australian Contingent members for AJ2025 has now been finalised.

These fees do not include GST, as the Jamboree has been declared GST Free.

The Contingent fee has been determined based on expected costs for transport and services, including airfares. Should there be a significant change in transport costs, alternative travel arrangements will be considered to minimise the impact but fees payable by participants may need to increase. Similarly, a reduction to the final payment may be made should under-budget airfares be secured.

Payments

Payments can be made by the following methods:

• Direct Deposit:   BSB 065000   Account Number   12035957   Account: Scouts SA Jamboree.
                                  Please use the Member number + surname as reference
• Credit Card:       Available via the application system once finalised.

Payment Schedule

The following payment schedule outlines the key dates and amounts that should be paid by participants registered and attending Jamboree.

Scout / Venturer Participants

First Payment – Due 31 March 2024 – $1000

Second Payment – Due 31 July 2024 – $1490

Final Payment – Due 30 September 2024 – $509

Adult / Venturer Service Participants 

 First Payment – Due 31 March 2024 – $700

Second Payment – Due 31 July 2024 – $800

Final Payment – Due 30 September 2024 – $350

Withdrawals

If after making application, you are unable to attend the Jamboree, you must advise the Contingent Leader in writing as soon as possible by emailing jamboree@sa.scouts.com.au

Withdrawals Fees will apply as follows:

Written Notification of withdrawal received by the Contingent on or before 30 April 2024

$0 Fee

Written Notification of withdrawal received by the Contingent 1 May 2024 to 31 August 2024

$250 fee

Written Notification of withdrawal received by the Contingent 1 September 2024 to 31 October 2024

$350 fee

Written Notification of withdrawal received by the Contingent after 1 November 2024

No Refund

Please note that there is no option to substitute an applicant.

The Contingent reserves the right to refuse any application, in which case a full refund will be made.
